Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Tabib is a directory where patients in the Middle East find doctors and read and write reviews of them.

For anything about this policy or your data, email support@tabib.care.

2. What we collect

Your account: email address, full name, whether you are a patient or a doctor, your language, and a profile photo if you add one.

If you are a doctor: the profile details you enter, your photo, and your licence number as you entered it.

Reviews: the rating, the text and the date.

Reports you file and users you block.

Crash diagnostics: device model, operating system version, app version and an anonymous user ID — never your name, email or reviews.

We do not collect your location, contacts, health records, payment details or advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

3. How we use it

To run your account; to show doctors and reviews publicly; to moderate content; to find and fix crashes; and to send account emails such as sign-up confirmation and password reset.

We do not show advertising and we do not sell your data.

4. What is public

Approved doctor profiles, reviews, and the name of the person who wrote each review, as they entered it. Everything else is private to you and to the Tabib moderators.

5. Where it is stored

Your data is stored with Supabase in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Emails are sent through Resend, and crash reports are processed by Sentry.

By creating an account you consent to your data being stored and processed outside your country.

6. How long we keep it

Your account data and reviews are kept until you delete your account.

Reports are kept for up to 12 months as a moderation record. Crash reports are kept for 90 days.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, withdraw your consent, or object to how it is used, as provided by Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law and equivalent laws in the region.

Email support@tabib.care. We reply within 30 days.

8. Deleting your account

In the app, open Account and tap “Delete my account”. You can also follow the steps on the account deletion page of this website.

Your account, profile, reviews and blocks are deleted. Reports you filed are kept for the moderation record, without your name attached.

If you claimed an existing doctor listing, it is unclaimed rather than removed, so the clinic’s entry stays in the directory. A listing you created yourself is deleted.

9. Children

Tabib is not for anyone under 13. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we delete it.

10. Changes

When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes are also announced in the app.
